Family Fraud

FBI agent Carly Mangham agrees to an unusual mission. She poses as a baalas teshuvah in order to stake out the Yakovsky household. The Yakovskys are a typical Chassidic family but irreligious Carly, who has never met them before, is actually their granddaughter.

While on assignment there, Carly befriends eleven-year-old Goldie, witness to a traumatic incident, who is scared to reveal what she knows for fear of her life.

Eventually, three of Carly's cousins are kidnapped and her FBI agent father, long estranged from his loving family, gets involved in their rescue.

As Carly's stay at the Yakovsky household stretches on, Carly feels herself torn between her job and her newly discovered family. She is exposed to a bustling and warm frum household, trust, and true dedication. And yet, she has a task to fulfill. She was sent to find evidence of tax evasion. How will it all end? Will trust and dedication to family prevail, or will Carly's workaholic nature gain the upper hand, distancing her from her new family and aligning her with the FBI's goal. Or is there another way?
